Can you direct me to someone who could assist? None of the Canadian immigration assistance numbers work. Lawyer's Assistant: What steps have you taken? Have you filed any paperwork with the government? I have not submitted anything yet, just began the process of compiling the paperwork needed. My job is expected to be 3 years, however I work in the medical industry which only does one year contracts at a time. So they requested a 3 year work permit, but I only have a one year job contract.
